BIOFUELS
Biofuels are not fossil fuels. They are made from organic matter and cause less pollution. An example of this is ethanol that is made from corn. Ethanol is corn and gasoline mixed together. It is used in cars. This way, less gasoline is used. Wood has been used as a fuel for thousands of years to heat water, homes, and cook food. Peat is made of decayed swamp plants. Peat is dried and burned to make heat to cook food and keep people warm. Even animal waste = dung can be used as a fuel.
